Next Year Planning

A quiet day today, if you could call it that.
Have vacuumed, washed the floors, changed the bedding and washed it.
Tidied my sewing room, and given my new watering can a test run
3 zucchinis and a cucumber picked.
New insect and bee home hung for the time being until the included seeds are planted.
Finished the 2nd eBook in the series. I had to borrow a hard copy as the 3rd was not an eBook.
Read 30 pages this morning.
Stitch Meditations. Only 5 left for the end of 2019.
I enjoyed the 365 x 4 inch challenge with torn paper images added to fabric.
For 2020, I purchased 2 packets of index cards. They will be cut horizontally, as yet have not decided what to do on them.
Fabric, paper, sketches........

And it is only 11am , might read some more of my book with a cup of tea.

  1. Hope some native bees find your hotel soon. I have been entertained by a blue banded bee in the lavender this morning. Too cute.

  2. Your insect and bee home looks very interesting. I've never heard of anything like it.

So... You are right in line with the Japanese end-of-the-year cleaning. I insist we stick to the American spring-cleaning schedule in our home! It is too cold in Japan to be doing major cleaning!

  3. It has been a wild time with three daughters and three granddaughters making the plans. Too much holiday cleaning was done by others so next week I begin hunting down all the stuff I knew where it was before Christmas.
