Fibre Arts - collecting foliage

Walked the school grounds collecting leaves for dyeing.

The fabrics have to be treated. Soy milk is used for one batch and tannin for the other pieces of fabric. They are left to soak for the day.
The process is slow but these preparations are necessary in order to print onto the fabrics.
