An Inch on the Map......

......can mean miles!!
Walked the Opera area with an ice-cream and other tourists.
The famous shop is next to our hotel, popped in to find a a Lancome product for Emma.
 The magnificent glass dome roof.
The store is worth visiting even if you don't buy anything.

The Opera House.
The 7th floor has an outdoor viewing area looking over the city of Paris.

 The Louvre Pyramid
Walked up a side street and found this lovely little park.
After being up for close to 48 hours, came back to the hotel for a rest, then off to Sacre Cour for a visit. Walked the steps up, not a good idea after a couple of glasses of wine and dinner.
 View from the top.
One of many bistros on the corner of each street.
Salmon Salad with garlic roasted chips.

  1. You have certainly seen lots of Paris in a short time.

  2. You seem to be fully acclimatised and have made a great start to your trip.

  3. Have a wonderful time Jenni and thanks for sharing your travels. can't wait to see more.

  4. You must have been ready for a sleep after all that!

  5. Nice to enjoy your trip from my sofa ... great views and no walking.

  6. Glad to see you're enjoying yourself. What's next I wonder....

  7. Did you eat at Bistrot Smiley? We did on our first visit to Paris and it was (and still is) one of the standout meals in France. We love the Montmartre area too.
