Christmas is Coming to Melbourne

Walking down Swanston Street this afternoon, noticed the yarn bombing, as workers were getting the Christmas decorations ready in the City Square.
They were decorated and knitted by "Yarn Corner",
"covering the town in yarn, one stitch at a time".

The Myer windows are open for inspection with many lined up to see them.
The city is slowly being dressed for the Christmas season.

  1. Missed the yarn-bombing, but I did see the Myer windows today. They looked great! I didn't join the queue, being tall is an advantage - I can see over the heads.

  2. The lacy knitting is amazing. If I could do that it would not be wrapped around a tree.
