Seoul - South Korea

"Are We There Yet", flew to Seoul with a 2 hour transit in Hong Kong.
Arrived in Seoul and checked into our 2 bedroom apartment at the hotel, brilliant accommodation and then went for a walk of the surrounding area.
Came around the corner to the Deoksugung Palace.
It was originally built as a residence for Prince Wolsen, the elder brother of King Seongjong (1469-1494). The grounds are planted with thousands of Japanese Maple and Gingko trees. Autumn would be an amazing sight of the trees.

The water is safe to drink and the grounds provide these water filling stations.
The Cantonese Opera Company had a display of costumes in the transit lounge of Hong Kong Airport. Beautiful embroidery.
 Embroidered men's boots

 Shoes from bound feet
