Amuse Museum, Tokyo

(I had to edit a word on a post and somehow can't get Yokohama
back in the correct order before Tokyo)
 The BORO exhibition.
This is old fabric that has been given, taken and borrowed and the scraps are pieced together.
Interesting, but I felt I wanted to get a rotary cutter and ruler and straighten the edges.

Under this futon cover, a family of 6 slept.

  1. I enjoyed all your Japanese posts, no matter what order they are in. Love the textiles, love the mix of old and new venues, love the quilts!

  2. Fascinating and what a variety of sights

  3. What a fascinating trip you are having.
