Lambley Nursery, Ascot, Victoria

Recommended by my friend Vireya,
our Sunday afternoon drive took us to Lambley Nursery, Ascot.
A lovely nursery and garden!
 Crocus "Lilac Beauty"
 Crocus "Firefly"
 Iris "Purple Gem" (my favourite)
 Common Snowdrops
The Dry Garden that is only watered 3-4 times a year.
The vegetable, seed and bulb raising garden.
Bulbs (tulips) in the garden, just starting to poke their heads up out of the soil.
We were told to come back in Spring when all the bulbs etc. will be flowering.
John bought some vegetable seeds and a packet of red Flanders Poppy seeds for me.
Creswick is just down the road, coffee and vanilla slices for afternoon tea.
Many thanks Vireya for telling us about this nursery, it was a visit well worth it.

  1. I'm glad you enjoyed it! It is interesting to see the contrast - it was November when I visited, so everything was in peak growth.
