The cutting of the ribbon....

I have been a volunteer at the State Rose Garden for several years. Today our new entrance was unveiled with the cutting of the white ribbon followed by a beautiful lunch.
The rose garden (free admission) is at Werribee Mansion .
The next project is the design of a viewing platform that will allow visitors to see the garden which is planted in the shape of a Tudor Rose with a bud and leaf at it's side.
After the rain we have had over winter, the roses are at their best. It is worth a visit.
