My Weekend thus far....

This morning went to the Gisborne Market. Picked up a few things. The small blue enamel charm was in a $5 tray. Organic almonds for DH and looking forward to a big fat salad sandwich on the sourdough bread for lunch.
Popped into "The Drapers of Mt Macedon" quilt shop across the road from the market and found 2m of the right blue Moda fabric for my background of blue/brown fat 1/4's.
Found several tomatoes on the bushes in the veggie garden, picked 5 zucchinis, 3 cucumbers, a bunch of basil and some spring onions. The eggplants and capsicums have lots of flowers on them. Have to keep the water up to the new carrots, baby spinach and gourmet lettuces.
The oregano in the little blue pot will need replanting soon, it is being taken over by the tomatoes.

Finished another 2 Dear Hannah blocks yesterday.

Started the last block of the Red Delicious sampler quilt.

And as I was decorating the Christmas tree and watching the V8 car race, DH called to say he had arrived in Zurich, zero degrees, 7am, foggy and very dark. Sunrise is not till approx 8.30am.
Long flight via Bangkok but he slept like a log. Glad he did......
