Exhibition Eltham

Wandered around the gallery areas of Montsalvat to view the Fabric, Fibre and Thread exhibition.
The artists displaying were:
 Annette Brauneis
 Julie Hudson
 Jan Lowe
 and Lee Robson.
Wonderful work, wish I had the time to view it more slowly, might revisit as it finishes 20 August.

Entrance is through The Barn Gallery
 The Long Gallery

 The Skipper Gallery.
 The Great Hall Gallery

Approx 20 artists live within the grounds. Mud brick cottages became the first "residences"

Montsalvat is an artist colony in Eltham, Victoria, Australia, established by Justus Jorgensen in 1934.
It is home to over a dozen buildings, houses and halls set amongst richly established gardens

  2. Thank you for the preview. I will be making it across to Eltham in the near future to see this one.

  3. Looks like more to see than just the show... Beautiful.

  4. I have been busy apologising to my garden for one month'd abandonment. A few days of rain helped the situation too. Those pots look very attractive as does the basket.
