3 Weeks of Sewing

I haven't blogged for a while as I have had a lot of hand sewing on the go.
Our Gondwana Textile group have a 16 postcard challenge to be posted by the end of October to the members throughout NZ and Australia.
I chose the "Seasons of Asia" using:
- paper from Japan and Korea
- tea bags, serviettes, paper bags and paper hand towel
- fabric, organza and sheers
-stitched with french knots and straight stitching
-background of cream fabric with tea stains and dabbed with gold
 Winter
 Spring
 Summer
 Autumn
With left over flying geese blocks, put them together for a quilt top to be sent to my cousin in Queensland, who is involved with the Aussie Hero Quilts. All that has to be added is a border then Vicki will quilt it.

  1. You have been busy!

You had a lot of left-over flying geese. That's a nice way to use them up.

  2. Great geese layout, the chevrons and solid rectangles make it really interesting.
