Australasian Quilt Convention

A beautiful weekend, weather wise for the AQC. spent the 2 days doing a class with Katrina Hadjimichael, called Longbourne. It was a quilt adapted from the Jane Austen series of books, named after the 4 homes in the stories.
All applique, I learnt some amazing tips and tricks from Katrina and despite promising myself not to spend, I did add to my collection of Repos and Civil War fabrics.

As a member of the Aus-Nz Art Quilters (ANZAC) our challenge of our 4 12"x12" quilts, Countries Outside of Australia, were displayed. It was great to see them all hanging and the display received some wonderful comments.
Had a great weekend, catching up with friends and making new ones in my class.
